On 23 November 2017 circa 250 of our clients, colleagues and fellow professionals helped us celebrate the twentieth anniversary of our formation. We hosted a birthday reception at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden to mark the occasion and a more apt venue for the evening would have been difficult to find. The London Transport Museum seeks to conserve and explain the transport heritage of London and has been expanded to cover all aspects of transportation in the city. The Museum explores the story of London and its transport system over the last 200 years, highlighting the link between transport and the growth of modern London, culture and society since 1800. In our 20th anniversary year, Transport Planning Associates are happy to have become a corporate member of the Museum.
The evening was marked by a short speech by Rupert Lyons, Director who thanked everyone who has helped us to achieve what we have during the past 20 years.
The opportunity to celebrate this milestone in our history with so many people was greatly appreciated by everyone at TPA and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped us to make it possible. It was a great success and we have received so much wonderful feedback from so many of our guests.
Finally, a special thank you to Clerkenwell Green for providing the catering and to the London Transport Museum for having us.
Here’s to the next 20 years!
