TPAs Oxford office is proud to be supporting this year’s Wallingford Festival of Cycling, a not for profit event organised by the community for the community which seeks to inspire as many as possible, young and old, to get on their bikes. TPA are providing support and advice with regards to the traffic management of the event, which is now in its fourth year, and a number of staff will also be volunteering on the day.
The Festival will take place over the weekend of 6th – 8th July and has a range of cycle related activities ranging from a ‘Pump Track’ to Mountain Bike Trails, and from a Family Fancy Dress ride to a Penny Farthings and Heritage ride. The Festivals finale will be British Cycling affiliated road races which will take place around the Town Centre, with top cyclists from across the country competing. The weekend will close on the Sunday evening with a Soap Box Challenge, which will take place on the towns medieval bridge over the River Thames.
