TPA is proud to have supported a consortium of Summerfield Developments Ltd, Taylor Wimpey, Bovis Homes and Mactaggert & Mickel which secured a resolution to grant outline planning permission on Wednesday evening for an urban extension at South West Taunton. The scheme will include up to 2000 homes, employment, a primary school and other facilities.
Led by Craig Rawlinson and Michelle Berrington, TPA provided detailed transport evidence and a mitigation package including roundabout access points and a park and bus site, required to support the scheme. TPA reached agreement on the various issues with the local highway authority and Highways England, and participated in extensive public consultation with various stakeholders.
