Transport Planning Associates are proud to be co-sponsors of The 500 Mile Pedalo challenge. Their mission is to be the first crew to attempt to circumnavigate the northern tip of Scotland by pedalo, and in doing so the team hopes to raise £250,000 for Parkinson’s UK and Cancer Research UK.
Their route will see them using a bespoke pedalo, designed by Master’s students at Southampton University, to travel from Inverness, down the Caledonian Canal, through Loch Ness and Loch Lochy, and then out into the Irish Sea. From here they will attempt to pedalo around the north of Scotland, arriving back at Inverness 500 miles later.
