Outline planning permission was granted on 23rd April 2015 for the erection of nine residential units comprising seven 3 bedroom dwellings and two 2 bedroom flats with associated layout, infrastructure and access arrangements.
Transport Planning Associates’ Bristol team have been working on behalf of the developer Sam Litt, with GE2 Ltd. Architects to achieve the consent for the site which is currently an existing car sales garage.
TPA worked with the highway authority in order to demonstrate that car parking provision which comprised zero spaces being provided on the site was appropriate could be justified given the inner city location and type of development. The team delivered a Transport Statement in support of the development which included a parking survey of the surrounding highway network to illustrate the existing demand at peak times to help justify the provision.
