Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council’s Planning Committee meeting and site visit held on Tuesday 10th January 2017 resolved to grant planning permission for a proposed development of the former New Inn Public house, Rugby Road, Bulkington.
The team delivered a detailed Transport Statement in support of the development with particular emphasis devoted to ensuring that the car parking and access arrangement could be delivered with no detriment to highway safety.
Highways and transport were considered key constraints, and TPA worked to demonstrate that the proposed junction spacing, net traffic impact and car parking provision would be appropriate for the new development. There were ultimately no highway objections to the scheme.
