LAND WEST OF WROTTESLEY PARK ROAD, PERTON (PHASE 2)

PROJECT

We were appointed by Land Fund to support an outline application at Wrottesley Park Road, Perton, comprising up to 180 residential development, serving as an extension to the previously constructed scheme immediately to the south.

APPROACH

We undertook scoping discussions with the local highway authority and prepared a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan to support the planning application. As part of this, we prepared a scheme to provide a new signalised pedestrian crossing on Wrottesley Park Road, along with new bus stops.

Detailed discussions were undertaken with the highway authority to address various matters following during the post-submission stage. This included the preparation of additional information in relation to the proposed emergency and construction access arrangements, trip generation, trip distribution and junction capacity assessments. Following these discussions and submission of the additional information, the highway authority confirmed no objection to the proposals, subject to conditions.

OUTCOME

A Resolution to Grant, subject to the completion of a S106 agreement, was obtained at the July 2026 planning committee.
