We were commissioned by the London Borough of Enfield to provide transport advice in relation to the consolidation and refurbishment works at Brimsdown Primary School located in the Lea Valley.

A planning application was submitted in December 2015.

APPROACH

We assisted with the consolidation and formalisation of car parking, based on an on-street parking survey, while increasing cycle parking in line with policy requirements to address sustainable travel demands.

It was concluded that as the school population wasn’t changed the level of trip attraction to and from the site was maintained. Finally the proposed redesign of the school car parks provided a more formalised arrangement assisted in improving safety.
