PROJECT

Transport Planning Associates is appointed by Neo-Environmental to support the submission of a planning application.

Norfolk House Farm is a solar, wind and hydrogen green-energy storage project located on land in Lincolnshire. The proposals include a solar farm and green hydrogen production facility, with a combined output of 20MW, . Additionally, the development will replace six wind turbines with three new turbines, as well as an additional four turbines on adjacent land.

Once constructed, the solar farm and hydro-electrolyser facility, which will produce green hydrogen, will enable hydroponic food production and fuel transition.

APPROACH

The application is currently within the planning application phase, having received pre-application advice in November 2021.

To support the application, we have aided the Client in discussions regarding appropriate access as well as design advice. As abnormal loads will be required to transport the turbine elements of the wind farm, routing and access is of th utmost importance.

Additionally, we have prepared a Construction Traffic Management Plan, which included technical access drawings and routing plans, and a Transport Assessment. A Transport and Access Environmental Statement Chapter was scoped out at the pre-application stage.
